# Sources

The Willingness-to-Pay Framework synthesizes published research across consumer psychology, behavioral economics, marketing science, and organizational buying. This is the consolidated source list for both the English and Indonesian versions of the framework. Citations in the framework text use the author-and-year short form; full entries are below, grouped by the part of the architecture they support.

The framework is a synthesis. Its contribution is the architecture (the demand-and-supply mirror, the separation of drivers from amplifiers from inhibitors, the journey and context layers), not the discovery of the underlying findings, which belong to the authors cited here.

## A note on source tiers

Entries above are primary academic works (peer-reviewed journals and foundational books) wherever possible. A small number of supporting figures in the framework text come from industry research and trade publications; where a claim rests on one of these rather than on peer-reviewed work, the framework text marks it or keeps the claim general. Practitioner frameworks referenced for comparison (Bain's elements of value, Maslow applied to consumption) are noted as comparison points, not as validation. The framework's own predictive claims remain unvalidated end to end, as stated in Part VI of the framework.
